1.Watch Your Punctuation, at the beginning of sentences, use capital letters.
2.Remember capital letters should be used for the names of proper nouns (e.g. names instead of description; table instead of it, Jazzy instead of dog etc.)
3.Put in commas, full stops and colon or semi-colon where necessary.
4.Check your spelling; verify that your words are spelt correctly.
5.Stick with your tenses, if you start in present, end in present, if you start in past tense, end in past tense.
6.Remember that double vowels are pronounced with a long sound (e.g. need, breeze) if there are double consonants, the vowel before are pronounced with short sound (e.g. hilly, cannon, filly).
7.Read over your work and make sure that it makes sense to you or anyone who reads it.
8.Think, Think, Think, you know the answers try to remember and dont just randomly circle an answer, if you do, it will be incorrect.
9.When you are doing parts of speech, if you are unsure, eliminate the ones you do not need then choose from what is left.
10.Read and ensure that you fully understand before attempting the questions.
11.When you are doing Communication task, remember to have a beginning, middle and an end and make it flow, one thing after the other. Ensure that it makes sense.
12.Read a lot and try to recognize and understand words you are not familiar with.
