The Brazilian forward failed to live up to expectations after joining City from Real Madrid in a British record £32.5 million deal in 2008 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Santos.

According to the Sunday Times, the Eastlands board are now ready to accept a £19 million offer from Fenerbahce.
