Day-Care Operator Charged With Prostitution

The owner of a day-care business in Naperville was arrested in a hotel in the west suburb last week on prostitution charges.

According to the Naperville Sun, officials from the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services are moving to shut down ABC & TLC Home Daycare business after the arrest of its proprietor, Amy Thoren, last Thursday.

The business will remain closed throughout Thoren's trial, according to DCFS spokesman Kendall Marlowe. And if she were to be convicted, Marlowe told the Sun that it would be "impossible for her to get a license" to operate a day-care again.
