Thinking about a student loan...don't get locked into thinking you have to go with the traditional government loan.

There are benefits to be had from seeking a private lender...consider these:

-Less formal environment;
-More flexible payment terms;
-Possiblity of a larger loan amount as governmnt agencies may not have adjusted with changing times..
-more flexiblity in renegotiating payment plans...

Don't be a passive borrower...be proactive and seek lenders who best suit your needs...
